Club members obtain fish from award winning breeders belonging to the NEFGA. All 300 students in the school however are encouraged to take fish home whether they are (were) members or not. Another goal of the club is to have students enter their fish in international competitions one of which was even held in New England at the school thanks to the school's administration. The main hope however, is that all the students will gain a love and appreciation for the science involved in this wonderful opportunity AND that it will become a life long hobby.
